Use Your Team’s State Shape for Trading Pins

baseball trading pins

This team used the State of Texas for their trading pin design.

Custom shaped pins shaped like the State the team is from, or in the form of a pitcher, can have more value than the average trading pin. Collectors might strive to collect all of the states and they would be willing to part with a few of their good pins to complete a set.

What a cool idea it would be to have all 50 baseball trading pins that come together as a puzzle to form a complete US set. Anchor all the pins to a sturdy piece of wood to make an interesting wall conversation piece.

Why not take it a step further and collect pins from around the world to complete a globe pin puzzle? Now that’s ambitious!

In any case, baseball teams usually use their state as a backdrop for their trading pin design, along with a mascot, crossed bats, player’s numers and age group. With all the custom trading pins at the tournaments each year, try to come up with something unique that stands out from the crowd.
